Kelsey Grammer is a beloved figure in American television. His portrayal of Dr. Frasier Crane on both the sitcom Cheers and its unprecedentedly successful spin-off Frasier has cemented him as an esteemed figure in American media. He played the role for 20 years, from 1984 to 2004, also briefly appearing as Frasier on the show Wings. He reprised the role again in 2022. Grammer is also well-known for voicing the iconic, disturbed Sideshow Bob on The Simpsons, Bart’s deranged enemy. Funnily enough, Grammer was a cast member on The Expendables 3 (2004), along with Wesley Snipes. A well-decorated actor, Grammer has won Emmys, Golden Globes, and Screen Actors Guild Awards, primarily for his work as Dr. Frasier Crane. In fact, he’s the only actor ever nominated for multiple Emmys for playing the same character in three different television shows. Very active in American conservative politics, Grammer has expressed an interest in running for multiple offices, including Mayor of New York City, U.S. Congress, and even president.
