CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY

In Paper Empire, Gillings plays William Noir aka Noir,  a BAD good guy, and a GOOD bad guy.   Noir has made quite a name for himself with both the underworld and law enforcement as he plays both sides against the middle. On the outside, he appears to be a dark money man who spends all of his time drinking champagne in a bathrobe while schmoozing with criminals and bikini girls on his yacht. But under the black, fuzzy exterior of his loungewear, there might actually be a half decent guy. Noir takes care of the people who work for him and, in his own way, can be very protective. What complicates his life is that he’s the ex-husband of Bentley Fintch, (Denise Richards) Noir gets pulled into Laurence Fintch’s (Robert Davi) world when Bentley rekindles the relationship with a catch, she asks him to help get Fintch, her current husband out of jail. But who’s playing who here?
