With an impressive career in film and television, Robert Knepper is known for a range of roles. His most well-known performance is his portrayal of Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell in the television series Prison Break. This character is considered one of the most notable television villains of recent history. Still, Knepper has remained pertinent in the industry through his work in other series such as: Heroes, iZombie, and the 2017 revival of Twin Peaks. His film chops are equally impressive, starring in Good Night, and Good Luck (2005), The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008), and Burning Daylight (2010).
As Konstantin in Paper Empire, Knepper draws from his nefarious acting ability once more. With no moral
compass and an appetite for sadism, the introduction of Robert Knepper as Konstantin establishes a
brutishness within the series as he pursues recklessness and openly invites danger into the lives of
himself and his associates. Konstantin’s eyes sparkle with mania as he personifies a deranged violence
with his swiftly changing moods, motives, and desires. Leaving the audience unsure of whether they
should laugh or tremble in fear, Knepper’s Konstantin brings an enigmatic and tumultuous presence to the
series.
